470- HANK AARON

DO YOU REMEMBER HAMMERIN' HANK
Here is a small peek in on his-story. Many people argue that Hank Aaron is the best to ever play baseball. Those people base their argument on one statistic, 755 career home runs. Aaron, however, was not your prototypical power hitter. He never consistently hit 500 foot home runs nor did he consistently win home run titles. In fact, Hammerin' Hank never hit more than 47 home runs in any one season. The key to Aaron was consistency. He was able to stay relatively injury-free and average 30 home runs over his 23 season career. But Aaron was much more than just a power hitter. He was the first person in baseball history to collect 3,000 hits and hit 500 home runs. He was also quite adept in the field, having won four Gold Glove awards. So there you go. ......GED.....
