676- BILLIONS of DOLLARS.. FLASHBACK 7

JUST HOW MUCH NET WORTH WAS RIDING IN THE BACK OF MY PICK-UP TRUCK THAT DAY
<--Castle Pines club house.
I was working on the Castle Pines Golf Course, and during one 'walk through' as they were called, I had the precarious position to carry four very wealthy men in the back of my pick-up truck in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
They were:
Marvin Davis: Billionaire Marvin Davis made his fortune drilling for oil and natural gas in the Rocky Mountain West. He then used his energy wealth to make a name for himself in real estate, acquiring such celebrated properties as the Beverly Hills Hotel, and the Pebble Beach resort. In the early 1980s, Davis dabbled in show biz, buying 20th Century Fox and later selling it to Rupert Murdoch.
Jack Vickers : A retired oilman who once owned the Vickers Oil Companies situated throughout the western states. Jack Vickers is a crusty old Colorado oilman with two abiding loves we know of: Making money and golf. For more than two decades, Vickers’ two passions were not mutually exclusive. A billionaire several times over, Vickers was the driving force of The International, at the Castle Pines Golf Club, one of the most popular and successful stops on the PGA Tour.
Jack Nicklaus: Most famous PGA Golfer and golf architect, you must know him. I don't have any idea of his worth but as they say, 'it ain't peanuts.' A multi-millionaire for sure.
Brent Wadsworth: Owner, Wadsworth Golf Construction Company. My boss and the owner of the largest and best golf construction company in the USA, a multi-millionaire also.
Two multi-billionaires and two multi-millionaires at the least, and they were riding on the back of my truck while I was driving around the tough terrain of the Rocky mountain slopes inspecting the under construction golf course we were building. This thought crossed my mind, Just how much money is riding here in the back of this truck and what if I mess up and go off a cliff. Yes, that's just what I was thinking as we rode along. Needless to say there was no driving off cliffs that day and everyone was safely returned to home base.
All in a days work..
