Well the series is over and a few Sox fans I know can stop biting their nails for a few months.
They have done it again, the last time being 2004, with a much shorter wait then their last stretch of 86 years. So pop the champagne and celebrate for it will soon start all over again...

Nails, hell. I won't even see cuticles for a couple of weeks.The big question in my mind now is, did the sox game finish before midnight EST? If so, then my niece Lily was born on the day the sox won the world series, which isn't a bad beginning to her life.
I'm being measured for my martyr dress as we speak. I was in the Dr's office with Erdene's dad, duing the last six innings of the red sox win. He has a chronic calcium deposit condition on his knees, at least that's what I thought it was and the mongol doctors didn't have the stuff to diagnose and fix it. The western trained mongolian doctor who treated the pmpkn was able to take care of it, so he should be mostly pain free, once the meds kick in. I feel so good about myself, it's sick.
And it was a great day for all..
Oh My God, the baseball season is over. I can't care less about football, much less basketball. No Nascar at all here... Formula whaterver and English Soccer, well there is still sumo. Great, I'm going to wait for the next fat men in diapers tournament.. crap..
Did reality just sink in? The season will be around before you know it.
Time does really fly!
But What Time Did The Game Finish? I'll even accept Godfather's time and subtract fifteen minutes.
It was about 3:30 pm here, you do the time zones.
hmm. I thought, I found a tv at 1215 local time and the game was over. Maybe I missed a daylight savings time adjustment. Oh Well, Lily will have to find another claim to fame. Thanks for the time keeping. My next sports post will feature large men wearing diapers, so be forewarned. I hate to say it, but the boy enjoys the whole sumo experience. He gets down on all fours, waves a hand, and then charges.. pretty funny stuff. No Marquis of Queensbury rules for him, he goes straight for the head butt.
