A VISIT TO THE FIRST EVER MALE STRIP CLUB

Located near Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, The Sugar Shack was the first premier nightclub to feature exotic nude male dancers. This club was featured on the Johnny Carson show as the first male strip club in the U.S. Well I happened to be one of the first men to go to this kind of show and I will try to recant the experience here as best as I can remember, and I do remember it well.

The setting and cast. I was working a golf course job with a few co-workers in Lake Geneva, Wis.. A small remodeling of a local golf club. We ( myself and co-worker, I'll call Tommy) met a local businessman (who I'll call Bob) during the course of our work. Bob says "Hey, I've got a friend who is a male dancer at a local club on the lake, do you guys want to go with me to the club to see him dance? Well never being to a male strip club we didn't think we wanted to go see 'that'. Eventually Bob convinced us to go and what a trip it was. I'll never forget it.

Entering the club: As the three of us walked into the club we had to walk along the left side of the stage which at the time was occupied by the lady who was the Emcee for the show. She immediately stopped her routine of announcing the acts and turned her attention to us, you see except for the dancers we were the only males in the place. She proceeded to ask where we were from and our names amid loud cheering from the 40+ female customers already in the club. We replied and I told her I was from Sarasota, Florida, amid more screaming. We then proceeded to our seats completely amazed at what was happening.

Going on stage: We had barely gotten our first drinks when the Emcee lady says, "Will the guy from Sarasota come up on the stage and bring your drink" That was me. She proceeded to tell the crowd that since she had some men at the show for the first time that she had a little show of her own to do, one that she didn't normally do with the all woman crowd. So it was up to the stage with my CC and waterback, she placed me on a tall backless bar stool, center stage and proceeded to strip while rubbing all over me! Shocked is the only word I can use to describe this, all the while all the patrons were screaming the kind of things like men usually say to women. She then proceeded to douse her titties with my drink and ask me to lick them off, to which I promptly obliged. Well that little show ended and it was back to my friends again amid remarks from women who were acting worse then men in a woman's nudie bar. Example, I stopped to purchase a pack of cigarettes and heard things like, "I'd walk a mile for that Marlboro!" and "why don't you come here and smoke this!" It was Insane! Women are much worse then men in this type of situation! They go completly out of control.

The crowd: There was like I mentioned about 40+ women there when we arrived, mothers and daughters, oldies, office friends, different parties of women, and all with cameras.

Then the bus arrived from Madison, Wis, The bus brought about 100 more horny women, it was then the place went completely nuts. The male strippers started their shows right after the bus came and it was never safe from that point on. We got offers for the empty seats in back of the bus, so I'll let your mind run with the rest of this. This was the first and only time in my life that I was actually afraid of women, and that is a tall statement for me to make.

You remember me mentioning Bob, the local businessman who had a friend working there, Well his friend, the dancer, came and sat at our table after his act and things really went bananas from then on.

Women came with cameras to shoot pictures under his towel and requested he pose with their faces peeking underneath the towel, yes, mother and daughters together, under the towel, smiling at each other, birthday girls, all of 'um, madness reigned.

I got more phone numbers offered to me that night then I have ever ask for on my own, all at one time.

Well you might ask, what became of all this? All I'll say is, Yup, it happened and yes, we did.

This is a story I don't tell very often, in fact this is the first time I have mentioned in years because nobody believes it, but it is true, all of it. Try making a story like this up, can't be done.
