Interesting that neither McCain, Clinton nor Obabma had the gumption to vote.

They are campaigning, probably not present in D.C. To the senators this wasn't an important bill in the overall scheme of things..

The lobbyists' contract expired a couple of months ago, Glen.

WW, The latest info I have recieved on lobbyists in D.C. 4/10/08.
I have received verification that lobbyist who has been seen with Lynn Knight is paid for by the Governor. Oldaker et al may be gone, but Lynn Knight is being accompanied around town by a Jeffery Taylor of Fleishman-Hillar Government Relations.
Out with one, in with another is how it looks to me.

Inhoffe and Vitter voted against the bill.. that tells you something right there. These guys are nematodes in every sense of the word.

Let's focus on making the transition a smooth one ;}

I am in Oregon right now celebrating! Awesome news! Hmmmm, imagine if that lobbyist money was used for something productive, like hiring more teachers!

Stupid is as stupid does. How many times did we tell this admin it is inevitable?

Perhaps they should call the psychic hotline and talk to Cleo. Ya man!

Well I guess Ben found four friends in D.C. to the tune of about half a million dollars. (guesstimate)

We're having an election in November!

I'm waiting to put that news on my blog until the president signs the bill though.

I predict that no less than 8 people will run.
