Click on this photo and get a birds eye view of the village of Songsong. In the background is the Wedding Cake mountain partially obscured by the smaller cross. This was named for its unusual formation of (yes you guessed correctly) a wedding cake. The village lies between the two mountains and is near sea level making it prone to flooding during typhoons and (god forbid) a tsunami.
No red lights for traffic exist here, to give you a feel for the quaintness of the island. Known for its natural beauty and serene eco tours, it is a laid-back type of atmosphere. Called Natures Treasure Island, and quite rightly so...... So if you wanna kick-back or take an unhurried rest, Rota is the place to go..So there you go and here we are.... Now you have a very nice day! .........GED.......
