954- GET YOUR GROOVE ON

GET THE ONE WHO WROTE A STUPID LAW TO ENFORCE IT
This will speed the economic and labor situation in the CNMI ahead for sure...
Put the one that supported a dumb law in charge of it!
Ex-Rep. Kaipat joins Labor as deputy secretary
Former Rep.
Cinta Kaipat, author of the controversial Public Law 15-108, or the new labor reform law, is joining the Department of Labor as deputy secretary. Labor sources disclosed that Kaipat started occupying the deputy secretary position effective last Thursday. Saipan Tribune tried to get comment on Friday from the former lawmaker about her appointment, but she was in a meeting with other Labor staff members.
In a meeting? How many times have you heard that bullshit? Well here you go.
Labor Secretary Gil M. San Nicolas, however, confirmed to Tribune that Kaipat was indeed appointed as deputy secretary. San Nicolas said he will talk about Kaipat's appointment in the coming days. The Labor Secretary was busy talking with Gov. Benigno R. Fitial at Labor's lobby Friday afternoon. In the past few weeks, there were talks at Labor that Kaipat may replace San Nicolas as Labor Secretary.
Well how much stupider can we get?

Everyone has a price, and her's just happens to have a visible tag on the label for everyone to read. Still, she did do some good with the various groups, while negotiating her value.

So she'll pick up some trash and deport your wife. Good deal?

It does make sense Glen. Who better to enforce the crap law, than the person who actually produced the crap? Makes absolute sense to me.. I mean the way things seem to have become so twisted as they are right now.

Isn't she the Governor's niece? God forbid she'd have to work in the private sector! She probably only needs to coast a few more years in the government for her pension.

I was trying to say something nice. I'm confused. Lots of good people have great things to say about her, but her record, lately, just bites. Personally, I find her defense of the crap immigration bill, much less the sponsorship thereof, to be well...indefensible. What is she, what was she, and how did she get to this low point. Desperation?
