The Bush administration's former point person for insular areas has joined an international law firm and will help head a new venture to advise companies that invest and operate in the Pacific.
David B. Cohen, who stepped down as deputy assistant secretary for Insular Affairs last month, now works with Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. He will co-head DWT Pacific, which is the first unified trans-Pacific legal and business advisory team in the market.
His advise just could be .. Don't go there. Or The CNMI SUCKS as some other people have done. Now I don't know what he might say about this place, but if I were in his shoes...
I'd get the last laugh....

That would be my question Steele. I'd rather count on David's sympathy, than count on him steering investments the CNMI's way, based on what he actually knows.
