THE REAL PROBLEM..
NOT Fair? Not Fair?!? Mr. Torres. Let us talk about what is fair, and what is not. Oil prices are not set by the oil companies. Let me repeat that.

OIL PRICES ARE NOT SET BY THE OIL COMPANIES!
Would it be fair, to the shareholders of the oil company, to sell a product to a consumer at less than the established commodities market value?
Would it be fair for oil companies to absorb ever changing operating costs, to cut us a break?
Would it be fair, to subpoena from Singapore, the oil company reps with the answers? Who absorbs those costs?
Would it be fair to let you, and the rest of the legislative branch of our government continue to draw exorbitant salaries, waste discretionary funds, and turn a blind eye to the most fraudulent, and wasteful government in the history of the world?
Oh, wait. I know the answer to the last one. Yes. Yes indeed.
Instead of wasting time and money on figuring out why prices are high, try focusing on why people are suffering.
Nice try though. Trying to put the blame on Big Oil for our problems.
