297- GOOD RIDDANCE

WE WON'T MISS THIS WORTHLESS PIECE OF CRAP....
FORT WORTH, Texas - Cindy Sheehan, the soldier's mother who galvanized an anti-war movement with her month long protest outside President Bush's ranch, said Tuesday she's done being the public face of the movement. "I've been wondering why I'm killing myself and wondering why the Democrats caved in to George Bush," Sheehan told The Associated Press while driving from her property in Crawford to the airport, where she planned to return to her native California. "I'm going home for awhile to try and be normal," she said....... (So you aren't normal now? Guess not!) In what she described as a "resignation letter," Sheehan wrote in her online diary on the Daily Kos blog: "Good-bye America ... you are not the country that I love (then try loving Venezuela I hear is nice there, and they got some riots going on there right now.) and I finally realized no matter how much I sacrifice, I can't make you be that country unless you want it. "It's up to you now. (We don't love you either, asshole.) "I have endured a lot of smear and hatred since Casey was killed and especially since I became the so-called "Face" of the American anti-war movement," Sheehan wrote in the diary. ......... So good riddance to a piece of crap, we will never miss her, the only question is, what the hell was she doing there in the first palace? Has she served any constructive purpose, did anyone any good, or helped this country? What a piece of turd this idiot person is, bye idiot. ....GED.....

Cmon now Glen. Her kid died in Iraq for a bunch of people (Iraqis) seemingly not interested in democracy. I can't imagine that kind of pain. She met the president and he was disengaged as usual. She's not against the troops, she just doesn't think their lives are worth Iraq, as do many, and don't want others to die there. She spoke her mind, and spoke against a lot of awful shit. You wouldn't want the government spying on you, or firing prosecutors for political reasons or making up stories about WMD to convince people to go along with this thing in the first place, or to see soldiers sitting in Walter Reed Hospital with rats and no service. Not to mention they find millions for Haliburton, but not enough for body armor. There are lots of reasons to be hostile about how the govt handled this thing, and none of them have to do with the troops.

I don't really know. I do know that soldiers are supposed to follow orders and that they can be court martialed for not doing so. I know that politicans generally make horrendous decisions -- this one is especially adept at that. So if the soldiers can't say anything, and neither can the civilians because doing so is "against the troops," that leaves George Bush, bought and paid for by coporations and lacking in intellectual curiousity, as God, and that leaves me shuttering in mortal terror. Unquestioned obedience to this government scares me more than Cindy Sheehan, that's for sure.

JEFF: Had I volunteered to serve,
carried out my duties, and gave all
I had, including my life, for what I believed in, I would rollover in my grave if my mother was cindy sheehan.
