M41- A LESSON IN APOLOGIZING

THE "HOW TO'S" OF AN APOLOGY
The Five Steps to a Sincere Apology:
Were you ever in a situation where you felt you needed to offer a true heartfelt apology? Well here is the way to do it and mean it...
JUST SAY..
1- I'm Sorry..

Express Regret: It is an admission of guilt and shame for causing pain to another person. It doesn’t make excuses or attempt to deflect blame.
2- I was wrong..
Accept Responsibility: For many individuals, all they want is to hear the words, “I am wrong.” We have to accept responsibility for our own failures.
3- I''ll make it right..
Make Restitution: You must show strong efforts for making amends. Have a desire to right the wrong-doings committed.
4- I'll never do it again..
Genuinely Repent: One important aspect of genuinely repenting is verbalizing your desire to change. This must be accompanied by a desire to modify behavior to avoid the situation in the future.
5- Please forgive me..
Request Forgiveness: It shows that you realize you’ve done something wrong. Requesting forgiveness also shows that you are willing to put the future in the hands of the offended. Remember that there is a difference between ASKING for forgiveness and DEMANDING forgiveness.
Just follow these 5 simple steps and you will be totally forgiven.
Now have a nice day....
