838- MENTAL MIDGETS AT WORK

LETS WATCH AND SEE THE KNEE JERKS THIS CREATES
Beware, mental midgets are at work again. Proving once again that they have absolutely no regard for the public and the voters concerns. Once in office, after the standard rhetoric of bullshitting about their support for education, health care and public safety they now don't give a shit anymore. They're in to do their own agendas, here is what happens...
Tinian Investor Disappointed with Saipan Gaming Bill, Postpones Casino Project
A NEW casino
investor on Tinian has postponed its scheduled groundbreaking because the House of Representatives passed a Saipan gaming measure. “We are very disappointed and are considering postponing indefinitely the $60 million first phase groundbreaking that was scheduled this month,” said Bridge Investment Group LLC executive vice president Phillip Mendiola-Long in an e-mail to Variety. The bill aims to raise $200,000 yearly to pay for the La Fiesta Mall which was bought by the government under the previous administration.
So were trading a $100 million resort and casino investment for a $200,000 dollar payment for a fiasco.
The groundbreaking for the new Tinian casino was slated for Dec. 28. The new $100 million casino facility was scheduled to be completed in June 2009. “But due to the Legislature’s actions, this has been cancelled and planning for Tinian is now being evaluated,” Mendiola-Long said. “This will now push our schedule until we get a clear picture of what the CNMI wants to do with the gaming issue.”
This is a smart political move on the part of BridgeIG. This bill is now sunk. This bill will really piss off some people and you will see assholes and elbows flying, especially on Tinian. Because this is such a good move on BIG's part this crises will pass very quickly and all will reurn to the status-quo just like it never happened.
I will guarentee this will not pass the Senate, won't even get a 1/3 vote, wait and watch.. Another Gaming bill, DOA.

837- A VERY SIMPLE THING

BUT I'LL GUESS SOME OF THESE PEOPLE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO THIS
YOU MAKE THE DAMN RULES, SO FOLLOW THEM!
People running to run the government probably can't even file a simple report. I want you to watch this as I will report all those candidates that are to simple minded or to stupid to do this. I will call them out, so watch your asses, and file your report now.
Here is what I'm talking about..
Campaign Finance Reports Due On Dec. 24
All political
parties and candidates who ran in the Nov. 3 midterm election must submit their campaign finance reports on Dec. 24, 2007.
Now how much do you wanna bet there are winners and losers who can't figure this out. Just watch how the people who want to run this community can't even file their campaign finance reports. Watch this, it will happen I guarantee it.
Public Auditor Michael Sablan said OPA personnel are available to guide candidates in filing their campaign finance reports. Free notary service is also available at OPA. In addition, OPA will send staff to Rota and Tinian on designated days to receive filings.
So for the simple minded who ran for election to run this government, and can't even figure this out, they will get free help from the taxpayers who voted for their dumb asses.
Candidates who cannot meet the Dec. 24 deadline may file a written request with the Commonwealth Election Commission for a 15-day extension. However, the candidate must have an approved extension by Dec. 24 to avoid a penalty.
Is this really hard to do? File a report following a schedule? Is it something tough like passing a budget?
A $100 fine may be assessed ( but never collected) against a candidate for each calendar day that his or her report is late. Any candidate who refuses to file a campaign financial report may be fined up to $50,000 or imprisoned for up to one year, or both.
Let's not pussy foot around. File, pay the fine or go to jail. This includes you, Greg Cruz.... I will be watching!
WE WILL BE WATCHING AND CALLING OUT YOUR NAMES!!! RIGHT HERE ON THIS BLOG!!

836- HOLIDAY EATING TIPS

THESE ARE EATING TIPS NOT DIETING TIPS
Holiday Tips
I hate
some things about this time of year. Not the crass commercialism and forced frivolity, but because it's the season when the food police come out with their wagging fingers and annual tips on how to get through the holidays without gaining 10 pounds.
You can't pick up a magazine without finding a list of holiday eating do's and don'ts...eliminate second helpings, high-calorie sauces and cookies made with butter, they say. Fill up on vegetable sticks, they say.
Good grief. Is your favorite childhood memory of Christmas a carrot stick? I didn't think so. Isn't mine, either. A carrot is something you leave for Rudolph.
I have my own list of tips for holiday eating. I assure you, if you follow them, you'll be fat and happy. So what if you don't make it to New Year's? Your pants won't fit anymore, anyway.
1. About those carrot sticks. Avoid them. Anyone who puts carrots on a holiday buffet table knows nothing of the Holiday spirit. In fact, if you see carrots, leave immediately. Go next door, where they're serving rum balls.
2. Drink as much eggnog as you can...and quickly. Like fine single-malt scotch, it's rare. In fact, it's even rarer than single-malt scotch. You can't find it any other time of year but now. So drink up! Who cares that it has 10,000 calories in every sip? It's not as if you're going to turn into an eggnogaholic or something. It's a treat. Enjoy it. Have one for me. Have two. It's later than you think. It's Holiday Time!
3. If something comes with gravy, use it. That's the whole point of gravy. Gravy does not stand alone. Pour it on. Make a volcano out of your mashed potatoes. Fill it with gravy. Eat the volcano. Repeat.
4. As for mashed potatoes, always ask if they're made with skim milk or whole milk. If it's skim, pass. Why bother? It's like buying a sports car with an automatic transmission.
5. Do not have a snack before going to a party in an effort to control your eating. The whole point of going to a Christmas party is to eat other people's food for free...lots of it. Hello?
6. Under no circumstances should you exercise between now and
New Year's. You can do that in January when you have nothing else to do. This is the time for long naps, which you'll need after circling the buffet table while carrying a 10-pound plate of food and that vat of eggnog.
7. If you come across something really good at a buffet table, like frosted Christmas cookies in the shape and size of Santa, position yourself near them and don't budge. Have as many as you can before becoming the center of attention. They're like a beautiful pair of shoes. You can't leave them behind. You're not going to see them again.
8. Same for pies. Apple. Pumpkin. Mincemeat. Have a slice of each. Or, if you don't like mincemeat, have two apples and one pumpkin. Always have three. When else do you get to have more than one dessert? Labor Day?
9. Did someone mention fruitcake? Granted, it's loaded with the mandatory celebratory calories, but avoid it at all cost. I mean, have some standards, woman! (Unless it was my Mom's
fruitcake, then you have to have two thin slices. Must've been the rum she soaked it in for 2 months.)
10. And one final tip If you don't feel terrible when you leave the party or get up from the table, you haven't been paying attention. Reread tips. Start over. But hurry! Cookieless January is just around the corner.
So pig out and enjoy, the diet comes later.

835- THE 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS

ECONOMIZING ON CHRISTMAS PART 2 OF 4
THIS WILL BE AN ONGOING STORY OF THE TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS
Due to financial
constraints Christmas will become more efficient and a little less frivolous this year. Here are the steps being put into place...
How to accomplish the more efficient days of Christmas:
1- The partridge will be retained, but the pear tree never turned out to be the cash crop as forecast. It will be replaced by a plastic hanging plant, providing a considerable savings in maintenance.
2- The two turtle doves represent a redundancy that is simply not cost-effective. In addition, their romance during working hours could not be condoned. Their positions are therefore eliminated.
3- The three French hens will remain intact though they will now cluck in English with only the hint of an accent, thus reaching a broader market share audience.
4- The four calling birds were replaced by an automated voice mail system, with a call-waiting option. An analysis is underway to determine who the birds have been calling, how often, and how long they talked.
5- The five golden rings have been put on hold by the Board of Directors. Maintaining a portfolio based on one commodity could have negative implications for institutional investors. Diversification into other precious metals as well as a mix of T-Bills and high technology stocks seems to be in order.
6- The six geese-a-laying constitute a luxury which can no longer be afforded. It has long been felt that the production rate of one egg per goose per day is an example of the decline in productivity. Three geese will be let go, and an upgrading in the selection procedure by personnel will assure management that from now on every goose it gets will be a good one.
Each Saturday until Christmas I will add a part to this post to show how Christmas will be streamlined....
Watch next Sat 12/15 for the next part.

834- PUBLIC LAW 15 - 108

GOING DOWN THE TUBES BEFORE IT IS EVER ENACTED
This numbnut law will never make it. It is the most ignorant law ever passed. (Although the reduction of the power rates, thanks to TTT and greedy, vote grubbing legislators, may come in first.) But the best thing about this law is it screams for the feds to come here put this to sleep.
The best two proponents of the federalization of the labor and immigration are the Governor and his "it'll ruin the economy" babble, when there isn't even a viable economy working here to ruin, and Cinta Kaipat's outlandishly stupid labor reform bill
PL 15-108. If these two things don't call out desperately for help then I don't know what does.
Now this is a very good thing they're doing here because this will louden and hasten the call for changes. The feds are watching and listening, and they know bullshit when they see it too.
Here is the first crack opening in this mess....
Sablan: Lawmakers May Revisit Labor Law
The Story Here
Some current and incoming legislators are planning to revisit the controversial labor reform law, Public Law 15-108, according to representative-elect Tina Sablan. Sablan disclosed there are legislators-both incoming and current-who are willing to revisit the local labor law and take up the concerns of the community about it.
So all the marching and footwork is paying off and this piece of crap will never make it.... Just my opinion, but you watch...

833- EVERYBODY THERE WAS THERE

UNITY MARCH IS A STUNNING SUCCESS - A NEW ERA IS BORN
Despite the rain the spirits were never dampened. I went there and never even got close enough to the stage to see who was on it. This will be a profound statement to the U.S. feds that they must consider when writing the final version of a new labor and immigration bill, this will carry way more weight than the governors weak unfounded ignorant assessment of the "it will ruin the economy" letters. Bravo to all who showed up, you must be commended for your guts and strength to see this through.
My highest regards to Tina Sablan for doing the right thing even though she got some slack from some other group that wishes they could pull off something close to this themselves.
Even if this is not everything you want, and it won't be, it is the beginning, every good thing takes time. This is a great start! You all now know just what the American way of life and the freedoms we cherish and fight for really mean. It just makes one proud to be an American, doesn't it?
I know there are a lot of people who need to be recognized for this effort and I can't call out all your names but I want to encourage all of you to keep on keeping on....
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

832- FUR LINED GLOVES

IT'S NOT THE GIFT BUT THE THOUGHT THAT COUNTS
Never get your gifts mixed up 'cause there could be some serious misunderstandings, possibly leading to an immediate reduction of your pleasures.
Here is a example of a mix-up that could greatly effect your love-life.
A guy decides to buy his new girlfriend a pair of gloves for Christmas-after all, they've only known each other for three weeks. Romantic, yet not too personal. Accompanied by her younger sister, he goes to the mall and buys a pair of fur lined gloves. The sister picks up a pair of panties for herself. But during the wrapping, the clerk mixes up the parcels. The sister gets the fur lined gloves, the guy takes home a gift box containing the panties. Without checking, the guy rushes the suspect gift to his sweetie, after drafting this loving & helpful note...
"I chose these because I notice you are not in the habit of wearing any when we go out in the evening. If it had not been for your sister, I would have chosen the long ones with the buttons, but she wears the short ones that are easier to remove. These are a delicate shade, but the lady I bought them from showed me a pair she'd been wearing for the last three weeks and they were hardly soiled. I had her try yours on for me and she looked really smart. I wish I was there to put them on for you the first time. There's no doubt other people will want to feel them before I have a chance to see you wearing them. When you take them off remember to blow in them before putting them away, as they will naturally be a little damp from wearing. Just think how many times I will help you pull them off and then kiss you during the coming year. I can hardly wait to see you wearing them on this coming Christmas Eve.
P.S. The latest style is to wear them folded down with a little fur showing.
Have a wonderful holiday season!

831- AIN'T WE PROUD NOW

KSPN: TAOTAO TANO CAUSES THE ACTING GOVERNOR TO DECLARE A 'STATE OF DISASTER EMERGENCY'
The reason: A shortfall of $2.5 million to purchase fuel caused by lowered utility rates
A round of applause for nothing....
It's time to puff out your chests TTT for the seeds of your labors are now bearing fruits. We are in a 'state of disaster emergency' now caused by the lowering of power rates demanded by the TTT. This might sound like an old story as "we told you so" weeks ago, but here it is, in your face, aren't you proud now? I hope this is what you were working and striving for 'cause you got it. You and the vote grubbing legislature wanting to be re-elected.
When will you recognize the folly and the harm you have caused, and fess up to your mistakes. But, Nooo! You will rant racist statements, call people names and blame the 'hollies" as you call us, for the problems you yourself have caused and deny it was your pushing the legislature to override the veto of this nonfunctional bill that is the real problem. Yup you should be gloating while we are dodging blackouts.
The sorry thing about this all is you haven't even came to your senses yet and are still singing the same song about reduced rates, when will you come to your senses and see the real world?
The simple fact remains and it is this, A business cannot operate at a deficit, but this is what you demand of CUC...
Please stop with your 'helping'!
Enough of talking to the wall...

829- A DONE DEAL UP YOUR NOSE

WHY EVEN GIVE A SHIT WHAT THE VOTERS SAY ANYWAY
Here they go, so never mind...
House OKs Saipan gaming bill
THE House
yesterday passed a measure allowing some card games and video lottery activities on Saipan, a month after island voters rejected a casino initiative.
So why even bother voting? Was it an exercise in futility, or a teasing of the peons to make then feel important, you know a feel good feeling, then get the hell out of their way.
That having been said, let me clear the air on this issue. While I'm not against this idea of having a Texas hold-em etc. at the La Fiesta and recognize that a stimulus is needed for the economy, it is rather brazen to put it into place in this manner. It seems to me as being force fed. Well I will rest on this issue and see what comes out of the effort. I do hope it is the right decision and turns out to be successful, although I have my doubts about them finding an investor willing to even invest here with this shaky knee-jerk controlled government. Hell all the rules could completely change with the next election. This would be the reason to have the laws made by the peoples referendum then a slap down law passed by lawmakers that may not be in office next term...
Of all the laws passed by the legislature I will venture to guess more than half or a majority get amended, changed or revised in some way shape or form. Just a guess, kinda like a CUC deposit, a number grabbed out of the thin air. Not good for investors to count on though, I wouldn't... That's all...

828- MAB-246 -- Exp. 1/ '08

MORE GODDAMN THIEVES - License #
MAB-246 - EXP. 1/08

IF YOU SEE THIS PLATE ON A SCOOTER CALL THE POLICE AND SAVE A LIFE.
Don't call me cause I'll kill 'um.
Last month my bar manager was assaulted and robbed, two bites to the face, 7 stitches in the mouth, $450.00 in cash lost , a cell phone, a purse and ladies you know all the other things you keep in a purse. All robbed in a hotel room. Then our shoes were stolen, not a big deal but a personal one. Now they took the licence plate off my bike/scooter. I'm now really pissed. What does a person want with my license plate?, all I can think of there are more crooked dealings and thefts going on behind this scene. You don't need a plate for a legal bike now do you?, so there must be someone out there missing a bike too.
There is one more a little more scary. I was asleep in my room on the sofa, now you all know how close your coffee table is to your sofa, 3 feet at the most. There was a gallon Chivas bottle and a small plastic basket with 'stuff' in it. The bottle was used to collect pennies, nickles, dimes and assorted loose change. The plastic basket held a couple of broken watches and some other junk. Someone or somebodies took the bottle and broken watches while I slept. Yup they came in my room while I was asleep and robbed it. The take wasn't much, maybe $30 dollars worth but the thing that scared me was this... What would they have done if I would have woke up? was there a baseball bat over my head? I don't know this. This is sorry and someone will pay dearly some day.....
If I ever catch somebody in the act they will think they are Jesus, Yes they will be paying for everyone's sins afflicted upon me. They will be crucified and paying for all sinners. If you hear about the second coming of Christ it may just be me catching someone fucking with me and making them pay for all sins.
Assholes, there are way to many assholes here anymore, and I'm getting so tired of this shit...

827- THE 'NEW' CASINO

A NEW PROPOSAL FOR A 'NEW' CASINO
I'm sure by now everyone has read or heard about the proposal for a 'new' gambling law allowing Texas hold 'em and some other types of poker games is in the works.
Now it's rather ironic that they are doing this so close on the heels of a NO to casino vote, BUT there seems to be some merit to this, although I not sure of all the details. I do know this much, It will utilize the La Fiesta, require an investor , which may be hard to find, and could generate some badly needed cash. The SCA was rejected largely because of the act itself and not particularly the casino in its own, although I'm not going to go there now.
Maybe this will work in some sort of way but I think we should let them give it a try. This could also be the beginning to help get the poker rooms out of the local villages too. I just don't know though. What are your thoughts and ideas on this, I know some interest has already been generated and everyone seems a little pensive about it, so what say ye? Comment below...

826- REDNECK SANTA CLAUS

THERE IS NOW A NEW SANTA CLAUS TO SERVE THE SOUTH
A second Santa, Bubba Claus has been added to make Christmas delivery's more efficient
A new contract for Santa has finally been negotiated....
.
Please read the following carefully.......
I regret to inform you that, effective immediately, I will no longer be able to serve Southern United States on Christmas Eve. Due to the overwhelming current population of the earth, my contract was renegotiated by the North American Fairies and Elves Local 209. I now serve only certain areas of the northern part of the U.S. As part of the new and better contract. I also get longer breaks for milk and cookies so keep that in mind.
However, I'm certain that your children in the south will be in good hands with your local replacement who happens to be my third cousin, Bubba Claus. His side of the family is from the South Pole. He shares my goal of delivering toys to all the good boys and girls; however, there are a few differences between us.
Differences such as:
1. There is no danger of a Grinch stealing your presents from Bubba Claus. He has a gun rack on his sleigh and a bumper sticker that reads: "These toys insured by Smith and Wesson."
2. Instead of milk and cookies, Bubba Claus prefers that children leave an RC cola and pork rinds [or a moon pie] on the fireplace. And Bubba doesn't smoke a pipe. He dips a little snuff though, so please have an empty spit can handy.
3. Bubba Claus' sleigh is pulled by floppy-eared, flyin' coon dogs instead of reindeer. I made the mistake of loaning him a couple of my reindeer one time, and Blitzen now hangs on Bubba's fireplace.
4. You won't hear "On Comet, on Cupid, on Donner and Blitzen ..." when Bubba Claus arrives. Instead, you'll hear, "On Earnhardt, on Wallace, on Martin and Getty. On Rudd, on Jarrett, on Elliott and Petty."
5. "Ho, ho, ho!" has been replaced by "Yee Haw!" And you also are likely to hear Bubba's elves respond, "I her'd dat!"
6. As required by Southern highway laws, Bubba Claus' sleigh does have a Yosemite Sam safety triangle on the back with the words "Back off." The last I heard it also had other decorations on the sleigh back as well. One is Ford or Chevy logo with lights that race through the letters and the other is a caricature of me (Santa Claus) going wee wee on the Tooth Fairy.
7. The usual Christmas movie classics such as "Miracle on 34th Street" and "It's a Wonderful Life" will not be shown in your negotiated viewing area. Instead, you'll see "Boss Hogg Saves Christmas" and "Smokey and the Bandit IV" featuring Burt Reynolds as Bubba Claus and dozens of state patrol cars crashing into each other.
8. Bubba Claus doesn't wear a belt. If I were you, I'd make sure you, the wife, and the kids turn the other way when he bends over to put presents under the tree.
9. And finally, lovely Christmas songs have been sung about me like Rudolph The Red-nosed Reindeer" and Bing Crosby's "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town." This year songs about Bubba Claus will be played on all the AM radio stations in the South. Those song title will be Mark Chesnutt's "Bubba Claus Shot the Jukebox" and "Grandma Got Run'd Over by a Reindeer."
Sincerely Yours,
Santa Claus
(Member of North American Fairies and Elves Local 209)
And to all a durn good nite!

825- KICKING OFF CHRISTMAS

WITH A SHORT TIME TILL CHRISTMAS AND THIS AIN'T NO BLUFF, THE SEASONAL MUST START WITH LOTS OF GOOD STUFF
We'll kick off the season with a lament from Santa....
Twas the night before Christmas, Old Santa was pissed.
He cussed out the elves and threw down his list.
Miserable little brats, ungrateful little jerks. I have a good mind to scrap the whole works.
I've busted my ass for damn near a year instead of "Thanks Santa", what do I hear?
The old lady bitches cause I work late at night ... The elves want more money, the reindeer all fight.
Rudolph got drunk and goosed all the maids, Donner is pregnant and Vixen has AIDS.
And just when I thought that things would get better, the assholes from the IRS sent me a letter.
They say I owe taxes- if that ain't damn funny, Who the hell ever sent Santa Claus money?
And the kids these days, they are all the pits. They want the impossible, those mean little shits.
I spent the whole year making wagons and sleds, assembling dolls... their arms, legs and heads.
I made a ton of yo-yo's no request for them, they want computers and robots, they think I'm IBM.
If you think that's bad, just picture this, try holding these brats with their pants full of piss.
They pull on my nose, they grab at my beard and if I don't smile the parents think that I'm weird.
Flying through the air dodging the trees, falling down chimneys and skinning my knees.
I'm quitting this job, there's just no enjoyment I'll sit on my ass and collect unemployment.
There's no Christmas this year and you know the reason. I found me a blonde and gone South for the season.
Merry Xmas

You Know It Will Be a Bad Day When....
Your
horn sticks on the freeway behind 32 Hell's Angels.
The worst player on the golf course wants to play you for money.
You discover that your 12-year-old idea of humor is putting crazy glue in your Preparation H.
Your twin forgets your birthday.
Your kids are treating you the same way you treated your parents.
Everyone avoids you the morning after the company office party.
Your car payment, house payment, and girlfriend are all three months overdue.
You call your wife and tell her you would like to eat out tonight and when you get home there is a sandwich on the front porch.
You start to put up the clothes you wore home from the party last night....... and there aren't any.
It costs more to fill up your car than it did to buy it.
You have to borrow from your VISA to pay your MASTERCARD.
So how was your day???

823- FAIR PLAY

WE WANT TO SEE IF THE HOUSE WILL DO THE RIGHT THING.
Fair play is is an issue here and we will soon see the true side of the legislature.
The Story Here: House Condemns MHS Teacher for Letter:

Ron Hodges gets a resolution condemning him for suggesting one spit in the soup of a tourist.
As noted here...
The House of Representatives adopted yesterday the controversial resolution condemning a schoolteacher for his public statements on foreign labor in the CNMI. By voice vote, the lawmakers unanimously approved House Resolution 15-219 “condemning Ron Hodges for behavior unbecoming of a Public School System teacher and for his unnecessary and inflammatory language to cause possible damage to the people and tourists of the CNMI.
”Well here's another letter written in the local paper issuing threats directly against the you, the legislature. A threat of physical bodily harm against all members in the 'glass house.' Yes that is you too Stanley, so what will you do about this? Look the other way, simply ignore it, since it is a 'local and not an 'outsider.'
I challenge you to enact fair treatment in this case and handle this just as you did in the case of Ron Hodges.
Here is the case I speak of... The Story Here
Written by:
GREGORIO CRUZ
President, Taotao Tano
CNMI Association Inc.

Ms. Sablan, be careful when you step into the Legislature next year because you will enter your new, ever clear, polished and shiny “Glass House.” There will be more people looking in than you can possibly count. You think that as a congresswoman it will make you all powerful? Sorry, think again, for people in glass houses better be careful when throwing stones, because those looking in might throw boulders! Now isn’t that ironic!

So, Stanley T. McGinnis Torres, we are now awaiting your response to see what actions you will take on this threat. This is not simply spitting in a tourists bowl of soup but a threat to throw boulders directly at you and the whole legislature. We will be able to see by your actions that you treat all people and things equal. If your actions are not similar to your resolution condemning Ron Hodges we will demand to know why. If the same actions aren't taken here and now then we will know for sure as to what you really are and that being feebleminded, shameless and crooked.... (Where have you heard that before?) The ball is now in your court and we are awaiting your action... You now have the opportunity to show that the first resolution wasn't just a racist sham, by treating this threat with the same due diligence and to show your true self... Do the right thing.

While watching the 6:00 o'clock news on KSPN a strange thing happened to my TV. There was this image of the Governor on the screen and all of a sudden all this bullshit came flowing out of the speakers and running on the floor. I didn't know what was happening at first then I realized it was what the Governor was saying that caused this phenomena. The shit was getting so deep I had to evacuate the area. Did you experience this strange happening at your house? If you were watching the Governor at 6:00 o'clock you were in danger, it could have happened to you too. I will now be looking for a new anti-bullshit filter for my TV tomorrow and I highly recommend that you get one too and make sure it is activated whenever the governor speaks....
On a more serious note... Did you really hear what he said? It was a letter he sent to Washington to thwart off federalization, again. I don't think this guy is connected to reality at all anymore. I'm not going to try to rehash it here but it will probably be played again or in the papers, check it for yourself.

You can't just gripe about everything and not offer a better alternative. You have placed the power company in jeopardy, and now you are coming up with these new negative approaches as follows...
In the news:
Kumho Investment a 'Breakthrough' for NMI Economy
TaoTao Tano against new development!
Kumho Asiana's $100-million resort development plan for LaoLao Bay Golf Resort was touted Friday as a breakthrough for the local economy. The local government and the business community believe Kumho Asiana will breathe new life into the CNMI's gasping economy.
However, the Taotao Tano citizen group did not seem too pleased by the Legislature's action. The organization wanted the Legislature to defer action on the lease until a public hearing had been held. “Let us not be fooled by the color of money, and deliver a [hasty] decision only to realize in the end that we made a mistake and the interest of the people is once again jeopardized.” said Taotao Tano president Gregorio Cruz Jr.
So just what is it you want here? Is it 2000 empty lots on dirt streets with partially built concrete slabs and rebar sticking out of them? Is this your vision of the Lao Lao bay area? If not tell us what it is you want...
More news:
TaoTao Tano Does Not Want Fluoride in Drinking Water

TAOTAO Tano CNMI Inc. is discouraging one of the island’s main water companies from producing fluoridated water, saying the compound “is toxic to human beings.” Taotao Tano president Gregorio Cruz said that after doing some research, they found that “fluoride contains lead, arsenic, radium and other toxic chemicals, which causes memory problems, neurological impairment, learning disorders, and hip fractures,”
Are these scientific facts or a nightmare of confusion?
Duh! That's all for this one...
So come up with some different approaches or alternative ideas and stop crying about everything if you don't understand how it works. If you don't have a new idea don't complain about the one presently offered....

818- TO GREG CRUZ

A REPLY TO YOUR LETTER TO TINA SABLAN
These are my thoughts only and not of any influence from the Rep. elect.
Letter to the editor: Ms. Tina Sablan (The story here.)
From: GREGORIO CRUZ
President, Taotao Tano
CNMI Association Inc.
YOUR actions recently have disappointed me on how you are taking a stand on an issue that is moot and is now in the hands of the U.S. Congress.
Well I suppose you would prefer to have her stand on a street corner and yell "aliens go home" as you and your group did.
Our guest workers here in the CNMI have every right to speak their minds, but you must be mindful Ms. Sablan, for you are now a public servant, which means you now work for the best interest of EVERYONE and not just a particular group.
Did you and your group have everyone's interest in mind when you riled alien workers, the ones helping build this community?
You are marching with those who did not cast a vote for you. We, the U.S. citizens of this commonwealth, elected you as a duly appointed representative to find diplomatic solutions and common ground so everyone can have a fair voice, but who are you representing? A vocal minority who did not vote for you and who’s fate resides in the hands of the U.S. Congress?
Greg Cruz, You seem to be speaking for a lot of people who didn't vote for you too, having only garnered a mere 150 votes out of your group of thousands as you claim. Who are the Taotao Tano anyway (imaginary little people in your mind) that you are speaking for, only that 150 people who voted for you?
And yes, mind you, there are quiet (a few?) guest workers who feel that your willful and one-sided activism has tainted our relationship with them. Why are you puncturing wounds and subjecting yourself to scrutiny when you are now a servant of our homeland and is fast becoming as transparent as your platform?
Now here is a place I'd like to see some facts, "show me the facts (numbers)" to back this very highly improbable statement, there is no way your statement is even close to a truth. Don't bullshit us with your guesses and unsupported wishes.
Have you forgotten your “Chamorro Culture”? I will ask you publicly a question and see if I can test your loyalty: “What is the central core value of Chamorro culture?” If you can answer that, it will remind you of your place in our culture and it will reveal once and for all what it means to be “Chamorro.” If you need to look it up, then it explains why you do what you do.
Am I missing something here? I remember just a few lines above you said, And I will Quote you "but you must be mindful Ms. Sablan, for you are now a public servant, which means you now work for the best interest of EVERYONE and not just a particular group. Is what you are saying here parallel to your above statement or now do you get to pick your own special interest group, how does that work, do you speak out of two different mouths? Is the "Chamorro culture" everyone as you mentioned earlier or a select group that does not include all the diverse groups of people? Explain this please.
How is peacefully supporting a display of people wanting a better life throwing stones? How do you manage to twist a simple thing into something violent and counter it with threats. Actually her polishing the glass house will enable all to see in and all the others in there will be exposed too, think about that. How ironic!
And finally, It won't matter if there is fluoride in the water anyway, the betel nut cancels it out. Betel nut will wipe out your teeth way before natural decay will. Toothless people don't even need it.

817- WRONG APPROACH

WE HAVE GOT THIS ALL BACKWARD
I was out near Beach Road pathway early this morning (12/2) about 6:30am and I saw a group of yellow shirted people with trash bags so I assumed they were there to gather trash, a gallant and noble undertaking for sure. I tip my hat.
Later this morning I read the news and saw this photo and write up on the efforts of these people..
MARINES CLEANUP: More than 80 sailors and Marines from the visiting USS Germantown team up with students from Garapan Elementary School in picking up trash during Friday morning's cleanup project on the streets of Garapan. The event was facilitated by the Saipan Chamber of Commerce, USS Germantown, Beautify CNMI!, and MINA. (see photo)
Now I salute all these efforts to keep the Island clean but the question that keeps coming to mind everytime I see or read about these the clean-up drives...
WHY THE HELL DO THEY HAVE TO KEEP DOING THIS ALL THE TIME? WHY DON'T THE PEOPLE THROWING THE TRASH JUST STOP IT!?
To me it's like having a spoiled child whose mother, rather then training the child to be neat and clean-up after themselves, always picks-up and cleans for them thus never training the child to take care of themselves and the child remains a slob. A careless messy slob who expects that whatever they do or mess-up someone will be coming behind then and clean-up for them.
Why can't these people producing this mess be held responsible for their own trash? This is the root of the problem, dirty, filthy selfish slobs uncaring about the trash and litter they dispose of all over the island. This must be stopped at the root of the problem and eliminate all these good people from here and other people coming here to have clean up the trash of these slobs.
One person policing the very same areas that have to be constantly cleaned up by 30 people, with the authority to hand out fines, could help stop the mess. It's a sorry thing to have to do but the trashing must stop and other people should not have to clean-up after these slobs!
Let the same amount of effort used to clean-up be put into improvements. So lets not just keep catching-up to what was yesterday, but move foward to better things and get-ahead for tomorrow.
I'd like to hear your ideas on how to stop these slobs and eliminate the need for these regular clean-up drives.

816- ALL ABOUT MEN

THINGS WOMEN KNOW ABOUT MEN
Just for the record here is a short take on men, women will affirm these.
How are husbands like lawn mowers?
They're hard to get started, they emit noxious odors, and half the time they don't work.
How do men define a "50/50" relationship?
We cook-they eat; we clean-they dirty; we iron-they wrinkle.
How do men exercise on the beach?
By sucking in their stomachs every time they see a bikini.
How can you tell when a man is well hung?
When you can just barely slip your finger in between his neck and the noose.
How does a man show he's planning for the future?
He buys two cases of beer instead of one.
How is Colonel Sanders like the typical male?
All he's concerned with is legs, breasts and thighs.
What do men and mascara have in common?
They both run at the first sign of emotion.
What do men and pantyhose have in common?
They either cling, run, or don't fit right in the crotch!
What is the difference between men and women?
A woman wants one man to satisfy her every need.
A man wants every woman to satisfy his one need.
What's the best way to drive a man really crazy?
Put a naked blonde and a six-pack in front of him.
Then tell him to pick only one.
What's a man's definition of a romantic evening?
Sex, Sex and more Sex..
These are truths so don't deny them, guys....

815- SAY WHAT

GUESS I'LL POST THIS POST ON A POST NEAR THE POST OFFICE WITH A POST-IT AFTER IT'S POSTMARKED POSTPAID BY THE POSTMASTER
An English Lesson
No wonder the English language is so very difficult to learn. I sometimes wonder how we even manage to communicate at all!

Dual meanings for the same words:
We must polish the Polish furniture.
He could lead if he would get the lead out.
The farm was used to produce produce.
The dump was so full that it had to refuse more refuse.
The soldier decided to desert in the desert.
This was a good time to present the present.
When shot at, the dove dove into the bushes.
I did not object to the object.
The insurance was invalid for the invalid.
The bandage was wound around the wound.
There was a row among the oarsmen about how to row.
They were too close to the door to close it.
The buck does funny things when the does are present.
To help with planting, the farmer taught his sow to sow.
The wind was too strong to wind the sail.
After a number of injections my jaw got number.
Upon seeing the tear in my clothes I shed a tear.
I had to subject the subject to a series of tests.
How can I intimate this to my most intimate friend?
She could not live with a live mouse in the house.
It was just a minute prick and over in a minute.
His mistake was putting his left foot forward while putting.
There was a bow tied in the ropes on the bow of the ship.
The people in Reading, Pa. are probably reading this too.

814- THE 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS

ECONOMIZING ON CHRISTMAS PART 1 OF 4
THIS WILL BE AN ONGOING STORY OF THE TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS
Due to financial constraints Christmas will become more efficient and a little less frivolous this year. Here are the steps being put into place...
How to accomplish the more efficient days of Christmas:
1-
The partridge will be retained, but the pear tree never turned out to be the cash crop as forecast.
Each Saturday until Christmas I will add a part to this post to show how Christmas will be streamlined....
Watch next Sat 12/8 for the next part.
