THE NEWS STAYS THE SAMEThis has got to be the slowest month in the history of the 558 blogspot. I usually look at the news and comment on daily happenings but it is now seemingly is always the same, Red flagged beaches, power outages, tourists being robbed, stick-ups at local markets, poker robberies, trash and vandelism, a bankrupt government, prices and wages in two different worlds, anti-federalization, moving through the rear-view mirror, no new progress anywhere, etc, etc, it just stays the same. I feel like I'm running the same gauntlet everyday. Nothing changes, nothing improves, everything seems to stand still. It's like groundhog day for everyone everyday. (If you have seen the movie 'Groundhog Day' with Bill Murray you will understand what I mean.)
The newspapers could reprint last years papers and noboby could tell the difference. Same problems, same people in office, same-o same-o. It's starting to get depressing, hence the fewer posts as the world here seems to stand still.
Wouldn't it be nice if there was something new, exciting and different happening here, but no, it's the same shit different day.. So be it.
