919- A DIFFERENT RALLY

WERE THERE TWO RALLIES TODAY?
Well I missed the big one and only saw the little one, damn! I missed the thousands of people while watching a few others. How ever did I miss something so big? It must have been right under my nose and foolish me, I didn't even see it. If the estimates of this group was 'thousands' then the unity march was really awesome.
Read this.... The Rest of the Story
Thousands join motorcade rally vs federalization
TAOTAO Tano
CNMI Association Inc says thousands of local residents, including government officials and key figures from the islands’ three political parties, joined their “unity rally” to express their opposition to the federalization of the local immigration system. Over 100 vehicles joined the motorcade that started from the fishing base in Garapan, Taotao Tano president Greg Cruz said. He said the number of participants almost matched that of the Dec. 7 “unity march,” which drew mostly guest workers seeking improved immigration status.
What a bunch of blooming idiots, and bold faced lies, now I know to never trust the news again. Things in the real world are totally different then reported here.
To you reporters:
By Emmanuel T. Erediano & Raymond Martinez Variety News Staff... Guys you need to get your shit together and report the truths as they happen and not what you are told. If I gave you a bullshit story would you print it without first checking the facts? Well you did that here. Shame on you for writing a piece of shit like this. There wasn't more then 300 people there, at the most. There were only 65+- cars to leave the fishing basin, I counted them. Who gave you this bullshit that you so blindly printed? Surely you must check on your resources and not write just anything you hear. I will expect to see a correction to this incompetent and inaccurate reporting in the next issue of the paper.
Thank You, I'll be watching for your correction.

PS.. News from the Tribune..
Some 150 government officials, businessmen, and community members participated in a two-hour motorcade around the island, honking their horns and greeted by residents they passed along the way.
Now this is the rally I saw today, I don't know where the Variety got their story.... I do hope they correct it...

Somebody must have got to Younis. Either that, or the two reporters in question have some immigration problems, the kind that can only get "fixed" by playing ball.

There was a time back in the '90s when the Variety had some real sharp reporters, girls named Cookie, Mar-Vic, Lindablue and even Benhur. This current group for years now hasn't attempted to get "the other side" of reports sent to them. Except for Zaldy's editorials, completely worthless reading.

I had to laugh @ that story. Only a 100 cars but over 1,000 people??? I'm not a mathematician but I think that means that at least 10 people had to cram into each car??? OUCH!

To think that's all they could get, even after Fitial ordered his cabinet heads to make the government workers to show up.

MarVic is still with the Variety, in Guam.

Cookie went to the Pacific Daily News, also in Guam.

Lindablue R. and Benhur S. did not write for the Variety, they wrote for the Saipan Tribune.
