Two of the CNMI's biggest problems today could cancel each other out. Yes this is good...
They are:
They are:
The rising high cost of food.
And,
And,
Diabetes and being overweight.
This sounds to me like it would be a wash. Don't buy so much fatty foods and go on a diet, killing two birds with one stone. So all you overweight people out there buy less, eat less.
Spend less-get healither, what a better time then now to diet, when food is so expensive and your weight is climbing. Lower your spending-lower your weight. You can't go wrong with this plan....

This same thought came to me a few weeks ago, while doing the family grocery shopping. I was looking for the positives to the skyrocketing food prices.. the only one I could come up with was "weightloss".
I was thinking that expensive rice might mean more taro and tapioca on the table (taters for me).
But junk food's the problem, and I just see people buying cheaper junk.
Hey, did you hear Thailand wants to start a rice cartel?
