MC 97- A TRIP BACK

I'M STILL ALIVE.....
To my my good friends. I've had a medical experiance that landed me in the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in the Phillipines. All is well and I will post more later. Today was the first day to find they had this computer service so more will come later. Thanks to all who cared.
Keep the power on!

I am so happy you are being taken care of. Have missed your writing and check your blog twice daily. Was so curious as to what happened to you. I wish you a speedy and full recovery. Donna J. Cruz

while you were gone. The Lt. Gov made a brief trip to the land of orange jumpsuits and one day the power was off for more time than it was on. Otherwise, same old. Although, the Mongolians managed a gold medal and are close to number two. Oh. Plato is back

Was beginning to really worry. Glad that you are writing, will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

GLEN! Nice to see you back! bsf said he had mailed you with no responce... lil' didn't know where you were either...got worried there for a bit. When the LT got arrested and you didn't comment I knew something wasn't quite right! Glad to see you back on line... Take care and hope you get better soon.

Oh Damn! Glen's back. Guess my days of trying to fill in the hole of internet bloggery that he left in his absence are over. Time to scuddle back into my little hovel until Lil, MP, or one of the other bloggers goes AWOL.

:-)

Welcome Back!

REVOLT

PS: You may want to stay out there in the PI for as long as you can... CUC is about to explode (kinda like waiting on Mt. St. Helens). Course give the Governor a couple more days and he should have nice sole-sourced and single handedly executed privitization contract all sealed up.

You are all so kind, thanks so much. Everything was a success so it's not to worry anymore just a lot of work to recover...The last time I learned to walk took me two years... As a baby, of course...

Glen- when you feel up to it, please relate your experiences at the Asian Hospital. I use St. Lukes and also Bumrungrad in Bangkok and I heard that Asian was having financial difficulty- but that they are now affiliated with Bumrungrad through a cash injection. I'm hoping they get their US Accreditation as a result, because it's a very modern facility compared to St. Lukes, which is well-worn. Get well soon buddy.

Glen owns a club in Oleai called "Midnight Karaoke".

I visited the club last week and learned that it is a front for prostition!

What a jerk!

Anonymous said...

Hey Glenn....are u STILL alive? It's been a long while

Anonymous said...

So he owns a whorehouse, big deal. Victimless crime, unlike the illegal deeds performed by the prostitutes that you keep voting into the Legislature!

Anonymous said...

were his girls any good?

Anonymous said...

Those Chinese girls at Midnight Karaoke can suck a Harley into reverse.

Young girls to exploit? Free trade by willing and hungry girls!

Hello, I am Glen's Daughter and he is DYING! Probably won't make it much longer, so I would appreciate hearing something nice about my father! I love him dearly and will miss him greatly!! I LOVE YOU DAD!!!! FOREVER AND EVER!

bigsoxfan said...

Tami, the best things I know about Glenn are right here in his blog. His sense of humor, caring for others and his adopted island of Saipan. There are too many examples to count, unless you want to add up all the posts. I wouldn't waste anytime on the rude buggers who left their filth here, Glen is a lot better than them and their lame comments only prove how true that fact is.

The world will be a poorer place when Glen passes. Cheers to your dad and I'll have to buy him that glass a rum a little later down the road. Mark Scease

Dear Glensdaughter,

Please let me know how we can communicate with your father. Where is he? What happened? I can be reached at edpropst@gmail.com.

Our hearts and prayers are with him and you...

Sincerely,

Ai Glenn, I kept saying that one day we'd finally meet and have a beer. Well, you'd have a beer and I'd have a shot of something. Your humor and wit have been missing in my blog life, lurking once in a while to see a bit of a punch from you. Hope you are comfortable and wishing the best. You are in my prayers and right now, in my thoughts.

Lil' Hammerhead said...

It's been rough doing this without you Glen. We miss your spirit and straightforwardness. We are keeping you in our prayers.

Bon said...

Tami you hang in there. Your dad is a power puncher and much appreciated and respected by his blog family. Prayers are sent for all of you.

Thank you all for your support, right now I feel this is all have to hang on to be close to my dad. I have not seen my father in 15 years, because he has been so far away. We have stayed touch via email and a few phone calls, but I really don't know much about his life in Saipan. I am sooooo glad to hear that all of you have enjoyed my father's sense of humor. He is definatley an interesting man. I love him with all my heart, just wish I could have gotten to know him better. I am talking to all of you because you seem to know my father better than I. I hope to leave AL this weekend and come spend time with him before it's too late. Thank you again for being there for him and I have passed on and will pass on the messages you left for him. I wish all of you the best in life. I will let you know when the time has come to say our true good byes to my father! Thank you!

Tami,

Besides being articulate and blunt, Glen is an expert, and I do mean expert, at the physical building of a golf course. I have played 7 courses (Glenview, Shaker Run, Weatherwax, Burapra, and two Jack N. courses in Hawaii) that Glen built and they are all masterpieces. He moved to Rota about 94/95 after originally retiring. He was recruited to come out of retirement to aid Rota Resort finish "the mess they had on their hands".

Pay no attention to a couple of these low life anonymous jerks gloating at your fathers illness. They are doing this over the original NMI labor and immigration debate (which they lost when George W. signed the bill in May 08) that was hotly contested here in the local news. Some can not accept the long overdue inevitable. He, meaning your father, also took a bold stance against government corruption and racism. If you care to learn more about this issue you could read mustbethehumidity.blogspot.com or unheardnomore.blogspot.com

I assure you the noni writing rude remarks is one of our long befuddled Congress members.

Your Dad is one of the worlds good guys.

Please give him my best wishes.

Tami,

PS if it is any consolation, some of the anonymous clowns are compensated character assassins. They dislike me as bad as your Dad, so don’t lose any sleep over their vulgar attacks.

Hey Glen,

Didn't always agree with what you said, but in the end, you are just as much a Saipanese as everone else that calls this island home and like anyone that loves this place, is working to improve this place and we hope for the best for you. Will keep you in my prayers.

Sincerely,

A Fellow Saipanese, American and Chamorro
